We are a small lawn service company that provides the results of the bigger companies at a better rate.

Captains Lawn Service provides professional lawn maintenance through weekly, 10 day or (limited) biweekly cuttings. We specialize in shrubs/hedges (shape and trim), small tree pruning, hillside trimming and small debris clean up.

Why choose us? We are a smaller company and we need your business. Most big companies come to your property to give estimates on a very professional level but then send workers that are very unprofessional to actually do your lawn maintenance. The low cost fly by night companies are undependable and can't do the work that we can do on your lawn because they have nothing invested into their business as far as commercial equipment. When their equipment fails, your yard does not get cut! With an upgrade in equipment CLS is ready to tackle bigger accounts and we are always more than happy to place an estimate on your commercial or residential properties at your convenience.

Our customers have been extremely happy with our years of service. The prices are good and we sometimes do a little extra just to make our yards look the best they can.



Bio:

  Captains Lawn Service was started by me (Ian Captain). I started the business after working a couple seasons with other lawn services in different areas. Captains Lawn service was originally called L.C. lawn care. L.C. is the initials of my son. Potential customers didn't understand what it meant without asking and after finding out that most advertising is done alphabetically, I soon learned that  most other businesses were getting the calls for estimates before anyone got to the "L" section. So, in 2011 we changed the name to Captains Lawn Service. We strive to be different than other business currently serving your area. We don't use word play to make us look better than we are by saying things like "23 years experience " just because I personally have been cutting grass since I was 12 years old. I started doing this professionally in 2006 and started my own business and ran it since 2008. I am hands on and have built this from the ground up.  Although I do want your business and as much as I want to be successful as a business man and operator "I do not want to be cut throat". If you are not happy with your current lawn care provider, are unable to maintain your lawn anymore or are just going on vacation, give us a call. I assure you that you will not be disappointed with our work and our prices are very reasonable considering the equipment we have to make your yard look the best it can. We are not trying to steal you from from another lawn service, but giving you an option instead.
